  • Espen Hauge is the President of the World Electric Vehicle Association (WEVA) and of AVERE - the European Association for Electromobility, and also President of the Norwegian Electric Vehicle Association.
    He has been engaged on the EV scene for 15 years. Under his leadership the Norwegian Association has grown exponentially, AVERE has celebrated successful international events like EVS30 in Stuttgart 2017, AEC2018 in Brussels, and WEVA has launched the World Electric Vehicle Journal - the first scientific journal for electric vehicles.
    His career also includes project management, engineering, and research and development, with management experience from the oil and energy industry, and in construction, working for global companies such as ABB and GE, as well as for the City of Oslo.

  • Since January 2014 Philippe Monloubou is the Chairman of the Management Board of Enedis the major Electricity Distribution System Operator in France and a wholly-owned subsidiary of EDF Group, independently operated in accordance with the European and French power market regulation.

    Enedis operates more than 1.4 million km of MV and LV power grids serving more than 36 million customers and their power suppliers. With 38,000 employees, an annual revenue of €14.2 billion and investments of €4.0 billion last year, Enedis is a Major DSO in Europe.
    A key enabler of the energy transition in France, Enedis has engaged a massive roll-out of its LinkyTM smart metering system program, with more than 16 million meters installed to date out of a total of 35 million scheduled by 2021, and initiated in 2016 a large-scale industrial deployment of smart grid solutions which is scheduled to be fully implemented by 2022.

    With more 410,000 producers totalling 26,300 MW connected to power grids operated by Enedis, including 405,000 photovoltaic producers and 1,650 wind generators totalling 20,500 MW i.e. 85% of the total French capacity of these two renewables sectors, Enedis highly contributes to the development of renewable energies in France. Enedis also facilitates the deployment of new uses such as individual or collective self-consumption and electric mobility – with more than 25,000 charging points connected to power grids and accessible in the public domain.

    Since April 2018 Philippe Monloubou is 1st VP of the French Think Smartgrids association, which promotes the French smart grids Sector in France, Europe and around the world. Enedis is also member of EDSO4SG and the G3-PLC Alliance.

    Before its current position at Enedis he has spent 10 years within EDF Sales and Marketing division (then 12,000 people in France in charge of customer relationship with 27 million customers in France) where he prepared and managed the deregulation of the French electricity market. In 2011, he was appointed EDF group Senior Vice President in charge of Sales and Marketing.

    From 1996 to 2004, he held several senior management positions, up to Deputy Director, at EDF GDF Services in France, then in charge of both electric & gas distribution grids.

    In 1993, he created EDF Group Buenos Aires office, representing EDF South America up to 1996.

    Philippe Monloubou began his career within EDF Group in 1979. From 1979 to 1993, within the distribution activity, he held operational responsibilities (technical, customer relationship and human resources).

    Philippe Monloubou holds an Engineering degree from the Special School of Public Works (ESTP - 1977) and graduated from the Institute of Business Administration (IAE Rennes - 1980).

Pierre SOULARD

  • Pierre Soulard is in charge of the urban mobility department, within the road department of Lyon Métropole, the local authority. With an initial training in urban engineering from the École des Ingénieurs de la Ville de Paris, he previously worked as an operations manager on infrastructure projects in various local authorities, as well as being in charge of a territorial road subdivision.

    He is a mobility referent within the Smart City approach of Lyon Métropole. While the Urban Mobility department manages traffic, (1600 traffic lights, 1 CRITER supervision PC), its scope of activity also includes the implementation of policies in favor of active modes: management of the Bicycle Service, development of carpooling services, supervision of car-sharing services, support for the deployment of electromobility, management of accessibility themes, travel safety and staking. It is also developing new mobility management tools: multimodal information (Onlymoov), interoperable ticketing (Urban Pass) and mobility consulting. Generally speaking, thanks to its expertise and transversal vision of urban mobility, the Urban Mobility Department supports all planners in the design of their public space projects.

  • Élisabeth Borne was born on 18 April 1961 in Paris. She is a graduate of the École Polytechnique, the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and the Collège des Ingénieurs.
    Élisabeth Borne joined the French Ministry for Public Infrastructures in 1987, before joining the Île-de-France Regional Directorate for Public Infrastructures in 1989. In the early 1990s, she became an advisor to Jack Lang at the Ministry of National Education and then an advisor to Lionel Jospin.
    In 1997, Élisabeth Borne joined the office of the new Prime Minister, Lionel Jospin, as technical advisor in charge of transport. In 2002, she was appointed Director of Strategy at SNCF, and then joined Eiffage in 2007 as Franchise Director.
    From 2008 to 2013, Élisabeth Borne was Director General for Urban Planning at the Paris City Hall.
    In February 2013, she was appointed Prefect of the Poitou-Charentes region.
    After spending a year at the Ministry of Ecology as the Director of Ségolène Royal's ministerial office, Élisabeth Borne succeeded Pierre Mongin as Head of the Régie autonome des transports parisiens (RATP [Parisan Transport Authority]) in May 2015.
    On 17 May 2017, Élisabeth Borne was appointed Transport Minister, reporting to the Ministre d’État, Minister for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition, in Edouard Philippe's new government.

  • Gilles Normand started his career at Renault, in 1988, at Product Planning department before moving to Sales & Marketing Division. In 1998, he was appointed Vice President, Commercial Coordination, for Renault Mercosur.
    In 1999, he joined Nissan in Japan to take in charge the Sales & Marketing for Latin America and Caribbean. In 2003, he was appointed President of Nissan Motor Espana prior to becoming Corporate Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Middle East, Africa & Latin America in 2006. In 2009, he was appointed Corporate Vice President, in charge of Africa, Middle East and India for Nissan, Infiniti and LCV Business Units and in charge of Europe for Infiniti and LCV Business Units. In April 2012, he became Senior Vice President, Chairman of Asia-Pacific Region of Groupe Renault.
    Since 1 January 2017, Gilles Normand has been Senior Vice President, Electric Vehicle of Groupe Renault. He is a member of the Renault Management Committee.

  • After graduating from the Ecole Normale Supérieure, I studied history and wrote a master’s thesis on Le Flambeau des Mille et une nuits et l’Orient des Lumières, 1704-1798. Following this, I obtained a DEA diploma in public law, then entered the Ecole nationale d’administration (ENA). In 2001, on completing my studies at ENA, I entered the French Council of State. After becoming Jacques Barrot’s deputy in 2002, I was elected member for Haute-Loire in 2004, thus becoming the youngest French MP. At the French National Assembly, I joined the Social Affairs Committee.
    In December 2006, at the request of François Fillon, then Minister of the French Education System, I wrote a report on the living conditions of students in higher education. I also took part in the employment and poverty think tank. In 2007, after being re-elected MP for Haute-Loire in the first ballot, I was appointed Secretary of State and government spokesman by the President, Nicolas Sarkozy, and tasked with updating government communication.
    I was then elected Mayor of Puy-en-Velay in March 2008, before becoming Secretary of State for Employment under Christine Lagarde. In this role, I channelled my efforts into supporting job seekers, reforming vocational training and improving employment for seniors. In the face of the economic crisis, we developed tools to better protect employees, such as improved conditions for employees working part-time, or tools to help retrain employees made redundant.
    I became European Affairs Minister in 2010, then Minister of Higher Education and Research in 2011, where my priority was to improve students’ living conditions. Currently President of the «Les Républicains» Party, I have for some years now been actively promoting the value of work to counter an over-reliance on state aid, and defending the middle classes, who should once again be the key focus of government policy. Elected President of the Auvergne Rhône- Alpes Region on 4 January 2016, I am determined to impart fresh momentum to France’s second-largest region.

  • Sharon Dijksma (1971) is a Dutch politician and member of the ‘Partij van de Arbeid’ (Labour party). She studied law at the University of Groningen and public administration at the University of Twente. Ms. Dijksma began her political career in 1991 with the Young Socialists, where she started as a general secretary and later became chairwoman. In this period Ms. Dijksma was also one of the youth representatives in the Dutch government’s delegation to the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York.

    At the age of twenty-three she became member of Dutch parliament. (1994-2007). She was the youngest member to be elected at that time. She was responsible for economic policy and spatial planning & infrastructure. In 2007 she was appointed minister for Education, Culture & Science. In 2012 she was asked again to become the minister for Economic affairs. She joined the Dutch government for a third time in 2015 as minister for Infrastructure and Environmental affairs.

    Meanwhile Ms. Dijksma served on several boards for example that of BNN media, Twente Education Centre and the supervisory board of Rijksmuseum Twente.

    In 2018 she was asked to join the Amsterdam city council as deputy mayor; an opportunity for her and her family to live in Amsterdam, but also to help the city with its challenges regarding traffic, transport and air quality. One of the main focus therein is the transition to an emission free Amsterdam by 2025.

  • Erik Lorentzen is head of Analysis and Consultancy at the Norwegian EV Association. He works closely with policy development and the EV market with a special focus on charging infrastructure. Lorentzen has a master’s degree of Political Economy, and has several years of experience working with climate and transport related issues for the Ministry of the Environment, the public funding agency Transnova and for the Norwegian Directorate of Public Roads.

  • Born in 1958 in Monaco, H.S.H. Prince Albert II is the Sovereign Prince of the Principality of Monaco, one of the smallest but most prosperous countries in the world. He is the son of Prince Rainier III and American actress Grace Kelly.

    He graduated in 1981 from Amherst College MA. He accomplished a military training period within the French Navy in 1982 on board the Helicopter Carrier “Jeanne d’Arc”.
    Prince Albert II succeeded His father in July of 2005.

    In 2006, he launched His foundation “Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation” dedicated to fight climate change, preserve water and defend biodiversity. Earlier that year He traveled by dog sled to the North Pole raising public awareness on the danger of climate change and global warming.
    In 2009, He spent three weeks in Antarctica visiting scientific stations.

    As Head of State and President of His Foundation, Prince Albert II has been honored by numerous prizes from organizations around the world for His contribution and actions in favor of the protection of our environment.

    Following the policy engaged by His father, Prince Rainier III, Prince Albert II is committed to ethics and transparency regarding the economic development in Monaco, His country complying with all the international standards.

    He is also a former Olympian athlete in Bobsleigh (5 participations at the Winter Olympic games), Member of the IOC and the Chairman of the IOC Sustainable and Legacy Commission since 2014.

    Prince Albert II married in 2011 Charlene Wittstock a South African national.
    In December of 2014, H.S.H. Princess Charlene gave birth to two children (twins) named Jacques and Gabriella.

  • Olivier Reppert has worked at Daimler since 1998 in the areas of sales, marketing and communications. He studied at the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg and the Louis Pasteur University and obtained a dual German/French degree in industrial engineering and a Master's qualification in industrial systems engineering. For the next decade, Reppert served in leadership positions within different DaimlerChrysler organizations in Berlin, Stuttgart and Zurich.

    Reppert was appointed a Member of the Board for Global Business Management of Daimler AG, with responsibility for regional strategy in China, India and Russia. In 2010, he joined the sales division at smart as Head of Department and in 2013 took over as Head of Sales for smart Germany. Reppert went on to be the Head of Brand and Product Management at smart as well as a member of the smart management team. In October of 2016, he was appointed CEO of car2go Group GmbH, the largest free-float carsharing service in the world. In February 2019, Daimler and BMW launched a historic joint venture that united both companies' mobility services (including car2go) under a single brand to form a new mobility powerhouse – the NOW family of branded mobility services. Olivier serves as CEO of SHARE NOW, the largest carshare company in the world with over four million customers sharing 20,000 BMW, MINI, Mercedes-Benz and smart vehicles in 30 cities across 13 countries.

  • Takafumi ANEGAWA is the President of Research Institute of Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc. (TEPCO) and leads all its R&D, including Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) as well as a variety of EV-related business innovations. The TEPCO group serves electricity in the greater Tokyo metropolitan area and its electricity sales account to about 30% of that of Japan, or the 8th largest amongst the global top utilities. Mr. ANEGAWA joined TEPCO in 1983 and was involved in nuclear power plant engineering and management until 2002, when he initiated and led the E-Mobility business team at TEPCO. During that time, Mr. ANEGAWA and his team were the driving force for the creation of the world’s first DC rapid charging technology, CHAdeMO, for the new wave of electric vehicles. After TEPCO’s Fukushima accident in 2011, Mr. Anegawa concentrated in the recovery efforts for 7 years as the Chief Nuclear Officer / Managing Executive Officer of TEPCO. Mr. ANEGAWA holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Tokyo.
