Nouredine HADJ-SAID

  • Nouredine Hadj-Said received the Ph.D. and accreditation to supervise research from the Grenoble Institute of Technology in 1992 and 1998, respectively, where he is currently a full-time Professor and conducts research with G2ELAB (CNRS, UGA). His main research interests are in the area of Smart-Grids. He has directed the common academia–industry Research and Innovation center (GIE I.D.E.A.) between EDF, Schneider Electric, and Grenoble INP on Smart Grids from 2001 to 2013. He is currently the Director of G2ELAB, Chairman of the Industrial Enedis Chair of Excellence on Smart Grids, and the Chairman of the Scientific Council of Think Smart Grids, the industrial Smart Grids ecosystem in France. He is one of the main creator, and the official representative of COMUE UGA, in Smart Grids Institute. He is also the Animator of the technical program Power Grids and Storage for ANCRE (National Alliance for Research on Energy) and the Vice Chair of IEEE PES Intelligent Grid and Emerging Technologies Coordination Committee. He has published over 200 scientific papers in international conferences and journals, has authored/co-authored and directed seven books on power systems and smart grids.
