Dra. Cristina Corchero is Group Leader of the Energy Systems Analytics Group at IREC. She holds a doctorate degree in Statistics and Operation Research (UPC, 2011). Her research focuses on the application of advanced optimization models and tools to electricity markets (aggregator agent design), smart grid, smart communities, electric vehicle and hybrid systems. Dr. Corchero has led and participated in several European, national, regional and industrial projects. She leads Vehicle-Grid-Integration in tasks 28 “Home Grids and V2X Technologies” at the Hybrid and Electrical Vehicle TCP from the IEA (International Energy Agency). Results of the research done Corchero participated in 68 research works published, from them 18 in peer-review journals. Moreover, she has presented these results on several national and international conferences, workshops and seminars.
