CNR is France’s leading producer of exclusively renewable energy (water, wind and sun) and the concessionary of the Rhone for hydroelectricity production, river transport and irrigation for agricultural use. As an active participant in energy transition, CNR is an actor in the development of electric and hydrogen mobility. In particular, it has developed a corridor of 27 electric charging stations along the Rhône River and intelligent vehicle charging solutions. At the end of 2019, it will start up a multi-energy green station for vehicles, distributing renewable hydrogen produced by electrolysis of water, compressed natural gas and 100% renewable electricity.
