To address the challenges of new mobility usages and needs and urgent climate and environmental issues, the IFPEN Transport Energie Carnot Institute explores technological avenues relating to electrified mobility, connected mobility and mobility with a low environmental impact:
• hybrid and electric powertrains: development of electric machine technologies for traction and turbomachines including power electronics and control, electricity generation and storage systems, thermal energy recovery systems
