Grønn Kontakt is a Norwegian national operator of charging stations that offer charging of electrical vehicles - along the road, in workplaces, public parking spaces and at home. Grønn Kontakt was established in 2009 and the company’s largest owners are Statkraft and Agder Energi. Today, we have over 220 fast charging stations all across Norway; from Mandal in the south, to Tromsø in the north – and this number is increasing every month. Grønn Kontakt also offers smart charging solutions for housing cooperatives, industry and public parking spaces. Our goal is to be the best at charging electrical vehicles! Oslo has been awarded the prestigious title European Green Capital for 2019 and is taking on an important task: being a role model to other cities. Oslo is small enough to test new solutions yet big enough for solutions to be scaled up to larger cities. More than 15% of all electric vehicles in Europe are registered in Norway, so in 2019 the world is invited to Oslo to share and to learn. The municipality itself accounts for less than 10 percent of emissions in Oslo, so in order to reach the goal of reducing emissions by 95% by 2030, the entire city will be contribute.

The Norwegian EV Association is a non-profit organisation and has been working for the successful introduction of electric vehicles for more than 20 years. Their main goal is to promote electric vehicles that run fully or partially on renewable energy and believe that electric vehicles are the best alternative for personal transport when it comes to the local environment, climate, energy efficiency and economy. The EV association represents electric car owners in Norway, and cooperate with the Norwegian government, the electric car industry, and other organizations. They seek to promote Norway as a best case for electric vehicles policy to Europe and the rest of the world.
