  • Marylène Peyrard (61 years old) has been the President of the "Syndicat Mixte Valence-Romans Déplacements" (Valence-Romans Joint Mobility Federation) since 2014. She is also Vice-President of the Valence Romans Conurbation Council in charge of travel and mobility and Mayor of Montéléger (Drôme). The "Syndicat Mixte Valence-Romans Déplacements" is the local authority responsible for organising transport and mobility in a region comprising 67 municipal districts, representing 250,000 inhabitants. The area is at the crossroads of the Drôme and Ardèche departments, around the cities of Valence and Romans-sur-Isère. The area's transport network, called Citéa, is made up of a fleet of 250 buses and coaches. Each year, the buses cover more than 7,000,000 km and around 13,000,000 trips are recorded. "Valence-Romans Déplacements" is developing an energy mix based on both NGV buses and electric buses. The first fully electric line with 13 buses will be launched in the spring.
